For over two decades, PTRC’s Evening Lecture Series has been the starting point for many successful careers in transport planning and traffic engineering in the UK and beyond. This 21-week London series introduces the core concepts, methods and practical skills needed to plan, manage and improve transport systems in towns and cities.
The programme has been designed to complement both the TPS Professional Development Scheme and the CIHT/TPS Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification, enabling participants to build knowledge across all the mandatory units. This makes it an ideal choice if you are working towards professional recognition or strengthening your professional portfolio.
What you will gain
A clear grounding in key areas such as transport planning process, data and modelling, appraisal, demand management, street design, public transport, active travel and road safety.
Insight from expert speakers who combine technical knowledge with current UK practice and case studies.
A structured learning journey that supports TPS PDS and TPP progression, helping you evidence knowledge across mandatory units.
