PTRC Fireside Chats
The Fireside Chat Series is characterised as an engaging discussion on contemporary issues; originally founded in 2020 and focused on the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has now successfully extended beyond this. Gender balance and other dimensions of diversity and inclusion have been a priority across the ongoing Series. Chaired by Glenn Lyons (Mott MacDonald Professor of Future Mobility at UWE Bristol), what started as a well received one-off event has gone on to become a series – predominantly a shared undertaking between Glenn and PTRC. For each Fireside Chat, the recording is available on YouTube and Glenn provides a writeup. These are all assembled below – we hope you find this resource thought-provoking and useful.
