Transport Practitioners’ Meeting (TPM) | 1-2 July | London Metropolitan University

24 March 2015/Categories: PTRC News

Whilst you listlessly stare out your office window wondering when the day will come that you do not shudder the moment you walk outside or when you can finally retire your deerstalker cap for yet another season,  we at PTRC are busy preparing for our full summer of trainings and, of course, our annual Transport Practitioners’ Meeting (TPM).

This year marks the 13th Annual Transport Practitioners’ meeting, and whilst 13 is not a number that traditionally calls out for  celebration or particular fanfare, we are confident that this year’s conference will deliver a high level of spirited discourse and transmission of ideas that will make TPM 2015 one to shout about.

Our Call for Papers was met with an outstanding and enthusiastic response by highway, traffic and transport practitioners from both the UK and abroad. This large and diverse pool of quality papers and presenters has translated into the creation of a vibrant two-day programme which will cover the latest developments and emerging best practice in topics such as behavioural change methods, planning for the future, designing streets, scheme funding and delivery, modelling developments and more.

In addition to the presentation of over 90 different papers, the two-day conference will also boast morning plenary sessions featuring key players in the industry as well as hands-on workshops and plenty of time for networking, including the prestigious awards ceremony and dinner.

A full programme, awards ceremony categories and general conference details can be found on our website.

So, join PTRC in dreaming of warmer weather and book your place at TPM now!
