The Principles of Urban Traffic and Transportation, 20-Week Evening Seminar Lectures Series

4th September 2013 – 5th February 2014, Toronto

The transportation system is being asked to play a greater role in society these days as we strive to move people, fuel the economy, be more energy efficient, and address the role of the automobile in climate change. These are broad themes that will affect the transportation profession for years to come, however at the 'street level' there is still the day-to-day of designing, operating, evaluating and improving the local transportation system in our cities and towns. This requires quality, targeted training to remain abreast of innovations in urban transportation.
Why you should attend?
This evening seminar program has been running in Europe for over 5 years with over 1,000 participants. After the big success of the first evening seminar program in Toronto in 2011, PTRC will be running the series this year from April 24th to September 4th 2013.

The program will consist of 20 seminars delivered by local experienced transportation practitioners who are experts in their particular field. Presenters will be drawn from consulting firms, local agencies, academia and other government entities.
